“What a delightful story of the message of diversity. It also teaches young readers the rhythm and rhyme of the language.
A great story and a great gift!”

“...Miss Molly Moo has something important to say.” Confused calf Abigail True knows that Miss Molly will answer her questions about that word she’s been hearing. See what other lessons Abigail learns in this enlightening tale about the residents of Hay Hollow Lane.
Miss Molly Moo is the wisest cow on Hay Hollow Lane, and everyone knows it. So, when young, curious Abigail is confused by the word ‘diversity’ she knows just who can help. Abigail has to work hard to understand, but under Miss Molly’s guidance and her own persistence, she sees the diversity all around her. However, she learns it’s not the diversity that matters; only the kindness and character.
Abigail and young readers of the book will learn the value of asking for help, the rewards of patience, and the importance of kindness, while discovering and learning to look beyond the diversity that surrounds them everyday.
Readers will be left hoping for more lessons from Miss Molly Moo!
Barb Paulsen’s diverse experiences with all sorts of animals and people shines in her first book. Her love for animals goes back as far as she can remember and that feeling seems to be mutual, as they love her right back. Her greatest joys, though, are her children, grandchildren, husband and friends. She has learned valuable lessons from all of them; human and animal alike.
